Pleasure Competitors can win a breeding to Radical Revolution
On Thursday, July 10, there will be the Draw Party for the 2008 CELEBRATION which is part of the renowned Bavarian Summer Show at Kreuth, Germany. This prestigious Pleasure and Hunter show for 3-year-old horses that have never been shown under the saddle before offers one of the biggest purses of Europe. The Go round for the Pleasure Celebration will be on Friday, July 11. The Hunter Celebration and the final of the Pleasure Celebration will be on Saturday, July 12. The list of competitors is now online under www.pleasure-celebration.de . The 2008 Pleasure Celebration Champion will also receive a Blue Ribbon saddle, sponsored by Blue Ribbon (Distributor Hubertus Jagfeld). The best mare of the Pleasure Celebration will be honoured with a special cup sponsored by Frozen-Partners. Marc Sacre donated a breeding to his stallion Radical Revolution, for which there will be a lottery during the Draw Party .
There will be 19 competitors in the Western Pleasure Celebration coming from Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain and Switzerland. Among them, there is last year’s Champion Karin Prevedel, Italy, as well as last year’s Reserve Johanna Grabner, Austria. Nine horses habe been nominated for the Hunter Celebration. Among the competitors, there is Mirjam Giraudini from Italy who placed third in the Pleasure Celebration last year.
The Draw Party will be on Thursday at 7 p.m. – in the Ostbayernhalle right above the show office. The reception is donated by Frozen-Partners (managing director Helmut Schmaus-Gerstenberg), a company representing several renowned Pleasure Sires in Europe. During the Draw Party, the competitors of the Pleasure Celebration can win a breeding to Radical Revolution (‚Rodman’). The stallion is by World Champion and Multiple World Champion Sire Radical Rodder out of Zippos Desert Rose (by Zippo Pine Bar). Radical Revolution was 3-year-old Snaffle Bit Derby Futurity Champion and Res. Congress Champion, Reserve World Champion Junior Western Pleasure and Tom Powers Triple Challenge Champion as well as World Champion Senior Western Pleasure. The stallion is the horse representing the ideal Western Pleasure in the AQHA Judges schooling video.
The Go round of the Pleasure Celebration is scheduled for Friday, July 11, the Hunter Celebration for Saturday afternnon and the Pleasure Celebration final for Saturdays night at about 7.30 p.m. Entry is free for visitors.
