EC 08: Gold for Mirjam Giraudini and CPR Valentine Blaze in Hunter unter Saddle Amateur

The second day of the finals in the performance shows started with beautiful Hunter classes. European Champion Amateur in this discipline was CPR Valentine Blaze and Mirjam Giraudini. The 4-year-old stallion owned by Irma Giraudini (ITA) and bred by Giraudini Quarter Horses was DQHA and NSBA Futurity Champion last year. For 25-year-old Mirjam, this was already her 15th European Championship, her mother Irma said. A New Intrigo and Anna Omodeo (ITA) placed second, Am I Hot Or Not and Katrin Ahlemeyer third.
Successful Jagfeld family: 2 times gold and 1 silver medal today
It was another successful day fort he Jagfelds here. With Nite Chip Hubertus Jagfeld became European Champion Senior Western Pleasure Open, while his daughter Alexandra got silver astride Maike Schauch’s Whenyourhotyourhot. Zippen Outta Town and Jens Eric Udsen (DEN) won bronze. It was the third European Champion title for the Danish stallion Nite Chip in a row, as he already won the 2006 and 2007 EC.
The second gold medal fort he Jagfelds was that in Senior Hunter under Saddle: a class won by Technology and Alexandra Jagfeld. The gelding by With Technique already was DQHA Maturity Champion and European Champion in this discipline. A New Intrigo and Karin Prevedel received silver, Hes A Natural Kat and Stefania Ugolini bronze. The owner of this horse ist Giulia Malcangio (ITA).
Great Youth shows
The Hunter under Saddle Youth was won by Ima Cool Boy and Leonie Behrens (GER). The 17-year-old girl was part of the German team of the 2007 European Youth Team Cup and became 2007 Int. German Champion in this class both with DQHA and NSBA. The silver medal was won by Just Call Me Deluxe and Anna Lena Dost, bronze by Zips Technique and Katerina Bastova (CZE).
The winner of the Horsemanship - 13 was Many Hot Assets with Daniela Wagner-Winter. CPR Diabolic Zip and Melina Hugelshofer (SUI) placed second, Profitableinvestment and Sophia Raschat third. In the Horsemanship 14-18, the title went to Make A Whis and Sara D’Imperio (ITA). Silver and Bronze went to Great Britain: Sashimi and Jessica Sternberg resp. Cee Ed Zip and Caroline Coles.
Today Nations Cup
Right after the finals, there will bet he new Nations Cup tonight which is scheduled for about 6.30 p.m. Of course there will be a livestream at www.turnier-stream.de
