Third success for Ute Holm and Sherees Doll: Open Champion in third NCHA Germany Highpoint Show in Paaren / Glien

They did it again: After winning the first two NCHA Germany highpoint shows Open, Ute Holm and her American Quarter Horse mare Sherees Doll also became Open Champion in Paaren / Glien during 2009 Texana fair. All three shows were also approved by NCHA USA. The two showed fine cutting like it should be scoring a 73. Astride Lone Star Swinging, Ute also placed second scoring a 72. With this, Ute Holm and Sherees Doll continue leading the 2009 NCHA Germany ranking Open. Ute rode the mare by Peptoboonsmal to the FEQHA European Champion title in Senior Cutting. After that, the two quickly became a ‘dream team’. The mare was bred in the U.S.A and imported to Europe when she was a yearling. Ute Holm who trained her herself started showing the mare last year ‘out of the spur of the moment’, when the horse she had nominated could not be shown. “I fetched her from the pasture and showed her ,” she said. “She was gorgeous from the start.”
The show was organized by NCHA Germany who had done a great job supplying good deep footing as well as superb cattle, which is not easy in Germany. This showed in the results: a 73 in Open as well as Amateur (Michael Ohlhoff and his great and very experienced mare FBS Jacks Sprat won the Amateur showing a brilliant ride that scored a 73) is not that usual in Europe. Wolfgang Dominick and Joys Bobby Cat became Non Pro Champion scoring a 70, with Ruth Lintner and Boon Be Back placing second. These two won the Buckle class scoring a 71.
