15 top American Quarter Horse and Paint Horse studs will be presented at Americana at Augsburg on September 8 to 12, 2010. In the hall 4 of the fairground, there will be a „Stallion Corner“ for the 15 participating stallions. Some of them will have a booth of their own. Other stallions will be standing at the exhibiting breeding or training facility and their booth. This helps mare owners finding the right stallions for their mares. During Americana, they will have a variety of top stallions live to look at and learn more about them then would be possible simply looking at an ad in a magazine. The participating stallions are out of proven performance bloodlines fto reining, cutting and working cowhorse. Of course their progeny will make excellent leizure horses as well. The horses available in hall 4 include Curtishof’s „Hot Smokin Chex“, Rudi Kronsteiner’s „Footworks Finest“ and Showdown Ranch’s „Playin Haida“. „Doctor Zip Nic“ can be found at SR Horse Training (Sylvia Rzepka). Besides proven stallions like „Shiners Vintage“ (La Mesa Ranch) and „Coeur De Right Stuff“ as well as „Reds Gonna Rein“ (both Ludwig Quarter Horses), you find a few stallions here for the forst time like “Little Peppy Dun It Right“ or „Hollywood Yankee Kid“. „The Great Guntini“ is a fine Paint Horse stallion going back to legendary Mr. Gunsmoke . „Mister Dual Spring“ vombines great bloodlines like Peppy San Badger, Doc’s Remedy, Sugar Bars and Colonel Freckles. Stallion Presentation on Thursday Night All the 15 studs are presented in the big show arena on Thursday night, September 9, 2010 at 8 p.m. . This is during Americana’s evening show ‘the long night’, Booths will be open until 8 p.m. that day as. Restaurants and the Red Grizzly Saloon wiill be open for supper as well. After that, visitors will meet in the show arena for the stallion presentation. Then Grischa Ludwig, Sylvia Rzepka and Nico Hoermann will show how to train reining horses. Markus Schoepfer and Philipp Martin Haug will offer a clinic for Working Cow Horse. This Thursday evening event is included in the entry fee. Of course, visitors will meet the owners and trainers of the stallions at their booths during all the Americana days. All the owners agreed to give an Americana special fee to those booking a breeding to their mare during Americana. Mare owners can ssave up to 30 per cent of regular breeding fees here. However, the Thursday evening event cannot be compared to the two big evening shows on Friday, September 10, and Saturday, September 11. Thesse are the real show highlights including the finals in reining, cutting and working cow horse. During 2010 Americana, there will be 27 attractive classes in various disciplines. From September 8 till 12, Europe’s leading western riders plus top riders from the U.S.A. and Canada will compete at Augsburg / Germany for the European Champion titles and a considerable purse, including three highlights: the NRHA Bronze Trophy Open Reining, the European Championship Cutting and the ERCHA Reined Cow Horse Futurity. The finals of these shows will be part of the two Americana evening shows: on Friday September 10, 2010 with the „Reining & Cow Horse Festival“ and on Saturday, September 11, 2010 with the „Cutting Spectacular“.Americana starts with the go round for ECHA European Championship Cutting Open on September 8 (the first day, Americana is open to visitors). Americana not only offers top class sport, but is also the biggest trade fair of its kind with more than 200 exhibitors. Also, it offers a large variety of entertainment and information. The “Whole Show Pass” does include the daily entrance and A category seats for both evening events. 2010 Americana classes will be in the new indoor arena (size 35 x 70 metres) with space for 4,453 visitors including those for handicapped persons and VIPs.
