Only two more weeks until 2010 Americana in Augsburg (September 5-12, 2010), Europe’s premier western event and fair. Visitors can look forward to five days to top sport and action. Entry numbers are huge, especially in Cutting, Working Cowhorse and Reining: 2010 AMERICANA includes more than 150 starts in Cutting (including the Cutting Team Cup), 35 starts in Working Cow Horse plus 20 starts in the Working Cow Horse Futurity as well as 60 starts in the Lawson Bronze Trophy Reining Open (including Ltd.) plus 30 in the Bronze Trophy Non-Pro Reining.
But also in Trail and Western Pleasure, entries are remarkable: 35 resp. 58 starts. If you add the other performance shows plus Youth, AMERICANA should be the biggest All-Around Western Horse Show for Performance classes in Europe this year.
Adapted Schedule - Classes start earlier
Due to the huge number of entries, the competition schedule had to be adapted. Classes will start earlier in the morning. Please look at the new schedule at www.americana.eu – then follow „Show Participants“, and then on the left side: „Horse Show schedule“ .
The entry lists are part of the AMERICANA catalogue which is abailable at the box office for € 2. Participants will get one free.
80 per cent of Evening Show Tickets already sold
For competitors, the event starts on September 5, for visitors on September 8. The absolute sports highlights will be the finals of the European Championship Cutting, the ERCHA Reined Cow Horse Futurity and the $44.444 Lawson Bronze Trophy which will be part of the two evening shows „Reining & Cow Horse Festival“ on Friday, September 10, and „Cutting Spectacular“ on Saturday, September 11. More than 80 per cent of the evening show tickets are already sold, so visitors show order their tickets now. They can be booked via www.americana.eu / then follow button „Kartenvorverkauf / Ticketing“. Tickets for the fair are available at the box office. The best option is a whole show pass which includes entry to the fair during all days plus category A seats for the evening shows.
