Preparations for 2011 Celebration are under way. The concept was revised and adapted now. Participating horses must still not be shown under the saddle before, but of course Hunter and Pleasure prospects can be shown in longe line before the event.
These are the changes:
Like at the the American Reichert Celebration, the European Celebration reduces its entry fees for Western Pleasure and Hunter. From 2011. the fee is € 500 per start. The Longe Line entry fee stays the way it was:€ 250 (VAT not included). There is a payback of 80 per cent.
There will be no Show Slots any more
For the first time, Amateur shows in Western Pleasure and Hunter under Saddle are added. The entry fee is €500 per start plus VAT
The 2011 Celebration will be part of the Bavarian Summer Show in Kreuth as always. Further details will follow.
The first Celebration in Europe was organized by Carola Vey in 2007. The event paid a total purse of more than € 100,000 up to now. Judge Jan Boogaerts commented to this event: “The Celebration is an excellent example of what can be achieved if you are totally devoted to something. The idea of a European top event in Western Pleasure and Hunter under Saddle gave new impulses to European Western Pleasure and Hunter Industry as well as the All Around scene. Now, breeders, trainers and owners have got the platform to compete with the best of Europe."
